Carol Purcell, President & Founder

Carol has been President of Blessed Abundance since it was founded seventeen years ago. She was producer and host of the Blessed Abundance radio program for nine years in San

Diego on KPRz. She is an inspirational speaker, teacher and author.

From intensely serious and painful situations to simple incidents of lost items and scraped knees, the “how to” of Christian life, unfolded during these years of “hands on ministry”. Carol has ministered the love and power of God and who God truly is to literally thousands through her radio programs, in addition to her seminars, speaking engagements and prayer ministry.

Carol gathered a wealth of information from hundreds of experts and lay people. “Results of Faith,” a second radio program, on the miracles done in the lives of average people filled the hearts of the listeners with hope.

Carol believes that the Bible is always, the basis and last word on all knowledge and personal experience. She never puts emphasis on denominational bias or church affiliation, just the love of Christ for all people.

Gregory D. Writer, VP & Director

Gregory D. Writer, Jr. – Mr. Writer currently serves as CEO & Chairman of the Board of The Writer Group, and is an executive with over 15 years experience in corporate finance capital formation, executive level management, mergers, acquisitions and sales/marketing. Prior to the founding of The Writer Group Mr. Writer served as CEO and Chairman of Children’s Technology Group (CTG) a software development company developing software to protect children and families from the perils of the Internet (pornography, hate, violence, etc.). Prior to his position with CTG, Mr. Writer co-founded and served as the CEO of 1st Net Technologies (1st Net), a full service Internet Company that specialized in online marketing solutions, web site development, and database capture and management. Concurrently while serving 1st Net, Mr. Writer also served as Director of Corporate Finance for Entrepreneur Investments, structuring mergers/acquisitions and valuations for client companies. Mr. Writer is an aggressive venture-minded, multi-tasker who has consistently converted risks to rewards and facilitated the formation and funding of many start up companies. Mr. Writer also serves as Vice President and Board Member of Blessed Abundance Ministries, a non-profit Christian based ministry. Mr. Writer lives in Escondido, California with his wife Mary of 16 years and their 5 children.

Jeanne Morgan, Director

Jeanne is a single mother and grandmother, owns and operates a beautiful store named Country Girl Nutrition Shoppe. Jeanne was the first friend Carol made after moving with her husband from Colorado to the San Diego area. Jeanne was part of the the original Blessed Abundance radio show as a sponsor and frequent guest. She opened her office to prayer sessions for the listeners who called the program for help and support. Jeanne watched the ministry birthed and has watched it grow. Always faithful to support and encourage she has been invaluable to the ministry through the years.

After watching her beloved husband, Stuart lose the battle to lung cancer and move on to be with the Lord, Jeanne learned much about healing and nutrition and overcame her own battle with that evil disease. She has a great testimony of faith and putting action to her words. Serving several years as a lay-pastor in her own church she has seen and been a part of praying in miracles in the name of Jesus.

David Spoon, Director

David Spoon is not just a dedicated christian but was an Outreach Pastor in 1996.

He was the official "outreach" Pastor of Trinity Heights Methodist Church. He was responsible for running the Saturday night Blue Jean Service, the Singles Ministry, the Divorce Recovery Group as well as the Pastor at large whenever needed. His multitude of responsibilities included public speaking, hospital visits, conducting services, and writing effective outreach plans.

He originated, secured, and co-hosted a live Christian call-in radio show. He was responsible for developing topics, scheduling guests, creating and producing commercials, general advertising and sponsorship. He was required to function within a very tight frame as well as participate in other types of radio formats.

Additional Ministry Accomplishments

" Coordinated a city wide rally for a program known as "Walk for Jesus".
" Helped secure permits through the Mayor as well as working together with law enforcement.
" Helped chair significant meetings with other leading Pastors in an effort to bring the city together.
" Police chaplain for the city of Flagstaff.
" Helped develop a Christian comedy album for wholesome entertainment.
" Wrote and published three different worship songs.
